Online radio at your fingertips
Nexus Radio is a desktop application that streams thousands of internet radio stations right to your desktop, meaning you don't have to go hunting on the web.
The slick interface is packed full of features and options, while the stations themselves are easy to negotiate. Nexus Radio's selection of broadcasters is arranged by musical style, station name, bitrate and format. Although we hadn’t heard of lots of the stations on offer, there is a great variety in all genres and you’ll have no problem finding music to listen to.
When you get bored of listening to streamed radio, Nexus Radio also lets you search for artists and songs. You can mark songs and artists as favorites, for easy access later, tag them, and even directly record audio to your computer. If all that that wasn't enough, the program comes with some cool visualizations, as well as Facebook integration.
Despite the great selection of radio stations and extensive options, Nexus Radio has a few issues that make listening slightly less comfortable than it could be. Adding favorites is not very intuitive, something that complicates the playing of results found via the search. In addition to this, many of the additional features must be managed via the Nexus Radio webpage, which doesn't make the experience entirely self-contained.
Nonetheless, Nexus Radio is a great little streaming application, and if a few fiddly problems don't bother you, you're sure to be grooving away as soon as you download.
Nexus Radio's great selection of stations means there's something for everyone.

It is a waste of time to install this crappy software. What is the use of storing thousands of stations, when none of them work. Sometimes, one station starts playing and immediately stops and says "station is not available".
Complete waste of time. More

Good but with flaws.
The good is that it does the job its supposed to, which is play and/or record from internet radio stations.
The bad is that misses tracks completely and the date/time logging of recorded tracks is wrong as in, the date and time recorded is exactly on each track.. regardless of when its recorded.
One gripe is the amount of adverts all over the display.. but as this is a free program I suppose its something you have to put up with.
It only appears to be able to record one stream, whereas something like streamwriter can record many at the same time.
Pros:
Does whats its supposed to .. sort of
Cons:
multiple stream record
get rid of all the fancy stuff More

Good collection of radio stations..
I like the fact that so many radio stations are small and interesting. I particularly like the 'new age', stations. More

I wasted a lot of time trying to use this application..
Useless, frustrating and a waste of time.
Twice I have installed the application. Two different product versions, I find out. 5.4.4 and 5.6.6. Neither will launch after install. I use Windows 7, for which it claims to be compatible.
Pros:
I like the appearance of the interface that I saw in the screenshot
Cons:
I couldn't begin to tell you, Flawless, it seemed install. No glitches. The app will not launch. More

Vista Stories: Nexus Radio.
Nexus Radio is an excellent and completely free radio player. Listen over 6000 radio stations for this Gadget is a real little satisfaction. Radio player in the Internet as a lower "mushrooms after rain," what makes this program arises from the rest of this type is the possibility of simultaneous listening and recording music from your favorite radio stations directly to the mp3 recording and later playback and a host of other functions .
